PETALING JAYA: Umno members have been urged to wait until the upcoming party polls if they want a leadership change instead of putting up banners urging Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to resign as party president, says Datuk Seri Nazri Aziz.
The Padang Rengas MP and division chief said that the party constitution had already given ample space for members to exercise their rights in the party polls if they want a change of leaders.
"It is wrong to put up such banners. The party secretary-general had already mentioned there will be party polls. Let us wait for that," he said when contacted on Tuesday (Jan 26).
