'This is so heartbreaking, he was a brilliant teacher' - Readers pay their respects to Walney driving instructor Rodger Stretch who died of Covid-19
The father-of-one from Solway Drive in Walney worked with Topgear Driver Training for a number of years. He died from Covid pneumonia on January 21, aged 44. Readers have paid their respects to Mr Stretch on The Mail page. Michelle Lynn said: "I passed with Rodger in December, he was a fab instructor and spoke very highly and lovingly of his family during my lessons. So very sorry to hear this. Thinking of his family at this sad time." Autumn Storey said: "This is so heartbreaking. He was a brilliant teacher, I couldn't have passed without him. Deepest condolences to the family."
