The church plans to build the new 23,800-square-foot facility at 28 N. Locust Point Road, which is twice as large as its facility on Lisburn Road. The church came in front of the Silver Spring Township Planning Commission at its virtual meeting on Thursday night to request conditional use approval for a house of worship and school, which the commission unanimously recommended to the township supervisors.
