Best parenting advice: some conclusions from a few years of telling other people how to parent.
Answering parenting questions does not allow one to compose a scholarly monograph on the subject. Nor do I have any meaningful qualifications to do so. But it’s impossible to wade through spreadsheets of parental anxiety, as I have done as one of your Care and Feeding columnists all these many years, without drawing a few conclusions. As I am now on hiatus while writing a horror novel, I am glad to stop writing about eldritch terrors in order to share some of those conclusions with you. Perhaps they will be of use as we leave the nightmare of 2020 behind and embark on a better (hopefully!) ...
