Actor Ryan Reynolds could be making fans of a popular 1980s television show happy with news that beloved character ALF is set for a comeback.
ALF, short for ‘Alien Life Form,’ will be promoting Mint Mobile, Ring and other brands during a ‘Caturday Marathon’ of his beloved 1980s sitcom this weekend.
Alf, the lovable cat-munching alien from the sitcom golden era of the ‘80s, is getting a marathon on Ryan Reynolds’ linear Maximum Effort channel on FuboTV this Saturday (which is also my birthday. Ryan Reynolds, you shouldn’t have!). The marathon will feature “new original Alf content” in the form of ‘Maximum Moments’ ads featuring creator, original puppeteer, and voice actor Paul Fusco as Alf. I haven’t been this excited about Alf since 1992.
