Buffalo Driver in Deadly McKinley Monument Crash Facing Charge

Paul Tolbert, who was driving the minivan that crashed into the McKinley Monument, killing the passenger, has been charged. The fatal crash happened the morning of Thanksgiving 2020. According to WGRZ, Erie County District Attorney John Flynn has charged Tolbert with one count of vehicular manslaughter. Tolbert was arraigned from his hospital s rehabilitation facility, according to the D.A. s website.
Deadly Thanksgiving Crash into McKinley Monument Kills One
Tolbert s passenger, Angel Marie Cobb, was killed in the crash. The District Attorney s office says that Tolbert was driving at a high rate of speed. The minivan flew through the air and struck the McKinley Monument. Tolbert is still in the hospital, where he is being held without bail. He s facing a maximum prison sentence of 7 years, if convicted on the second degree felony manslaughter charge. According to WKBW, he is due back in court on January
