New Delhi [India], March 17 (ANI): Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President Sukhbir Singh Badal, who has tested positive for coronavirus, will be taken to Medanta Hospital in Gurugram for further treatment.
"Thanks to the blessings of Guru Sahib and all your good wishes, I am doing well. However, I am going to Medanta Hospital Gurgaon for further tests as a cautionary measure. Your messages of love and concern are much appreciated," Badal said in a tweet on Wednesday.
Badal had informed on Tuesday that he has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and that he is adhering to the COVID protocols.

Jalan Kalrock Consortium, the winning bidder for Jet Airways, expects to restart operations of the defunct airline in four to six months after receiving approval from the NCLT for its resolution plan.
Jet Airways, the once-storied full-service carrier was grounded in early 2019 and subsequently is undergoing proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
Against the backdrop of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) likely to take a final call on the resolution plan for the airline, the winning consortium's lead member Murari Lala Jalan told PTI that "everything is on track" as far as the revival efforts for the carrier are concerned.

The Gurugram-based Medanta, or Global Health Private Limited, would get ₹100 crore ($13.7 million) from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in debt financing to provide essential healthcare services during the Covid-19 pandemic.
An agreement for this was signed between Aniruddha Patil, head of Health and Education Investments at ADB’s Private Sector Operations Department, and Naresh Trehan, Chairman and Managing Director of Medanta.
The project will support the purchase of personal protective equipment, basic hygiene products, and patient care equipment such as ventilators and beds. It will also support staff training programmes on infection prevention and control, an ADB statement said here on Monday.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) on Monday said it will provide Rs 100 crore loan to hospital chain Medanta for healthcare services and medical equipment to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The project will support the purchase of personal protective equipment, basic hygiene products, and patient care equipment such as ventilators and beds.
It will also support staff training programmes on infection prevention and control.
"Private sector healthcare services play a life-saving role during health crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Aniruddha Patil, Head of Health and Education Investments at ADB’s Private Sector Operations Department.
