21 policemen injured in Brahmanbaria road accident Star Digital Report Star Digital Report Twenty-one policemen and two drivers were injured when a bus collided with two pick-up vans in Brahmanbaria this morning. The injured policemen include two inspectors – Md Mokbul Hossain and Md Belayet Hossain, Assistant Sub-Inspector Johirul Islam and 18 constables. The accident took place around 8:00am on Cumilla-Sylhet highway at West Medda Markazpara in the town when a bus coming from Dhaka collided with the pick-up vans, Additional Superintendent of Police Md Roish Uddin told our local correspondent. All the injured policemen who were on the pick-up vans were going to Brahmanbaria from Kishoreganj. They were deployed to carry out special duties to maintain law and order situation after Hefajat-e Islam mayhem in Brahmanbaria for three days from March 26 to 28. ....
