A gang of more than five men assaulted the owner of Mehendi Bar and Restaurant on Residency Road for refusing to serve them liquor since it was closing time, on Monday. The accused have been identified as Deekshith Shetty, Yasir, Thyagu, Vinay, Bannu and a few others are yet to be identified. In his complaint to the police, bar owner Rajesh Shetty said that around 1.40 am, Deekshith and his associates barged into the bar as it was being closed and demanded that they be served liquor.
