Here's where to find Cape Cod's best outdoor holiday light displays
I've been far from boastful of my own outdoor holiday light display. A few strands of lights - big retro bulbs, thank you - strung up in a couple of trees with great effort, whilst haunted by fears of plummeting to earth from the step ladder or jamming a tree branch into my face. So flash. No bling. No blow-up stuff. No blaring holiday tunes. So modest, and yet so deeply satisfying when I gaze from a window into a frigid, drab night brightened by cheery color. Until the gray squirrels descend and chew the wires, draining the night of all joy.
