Bahamas, they got a good soaking from bonnie. lots of rain and lightning all over the islands. but officials say no major damage or officials on those island chains. let s talk about what s happening here in south florida. look, anytime there s a storm, mention wind, mention rain, mention the hurricane season. folks in these areas are used to those storm warnings. they have been prepping for bonnie. florida officials right any are scrambling to pull about 316,000 feet of boom out of the water. if that boom is not pulled, it could go flying in the storm. let me tell you this much also, some of the florida officials say what we are getting from bonnie today and maybe into tomorrow is going to be more of a raining, soaking event. take a listen. this isn t anticipated to be a real severe weather event, but it could dump a substantial amount of rainfall, two to four inches is what we are hearing. we already have some neighbors that are prone to flooding just from title flooding backing up ....
