Sanford Health celebrates 35 years in Detroit Lakes
Sanford Health s Detroit Lakes clinic is celebrating 35 years of serving the lakes area. The clinic s location, staff and services have grown along with the community.

Sanford Health Detroit Lakes current location at 1245 Washington Avenue was first constructed in 1986 and opened its doors on July 10, 1987. It has undergone several changes since then, including construction of a new dialysis center across the street that just opened this past spring. (Submitted photo)
The Detroit Lakes Community Medical Clinic opened its doors on Aug. 8, 1983, at a temporary location between St Mary’s hospital and nursing home. In October of that same year, the clinic moved into a new building on West Main. ....
