VCSO needs help from public in December 2019 homicide
Investigators with the Valencia County Sheriffâs Office are seeking information about an unsolved homicide from 2019. Just before 1 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of Mesa Estates Road and Osage Drive in Meadow Lake for a report of a body protruding from beneath a couch on a vacant piece of property to the west of Osage. The deceased man was identified as Chad Begay, 24, of Albuquerque. The body was partially buried with a sofa on top of it. VCSO spokesman Lt.
