Meta's Threads introduces a new trending feature, similar to Twitter, based on a machine learning algorithm that considers user conversations and interactions. X, Threads' biggest competitor, has already possessed a refined Trending topics page for a long time.
According to Meta, the feature will uncover “timely topics that others are discussing” and will appear in search as well as between posts in the app’s For You feed.
