Justin Lelesch late Thursday was named the city of Abilene's director of Animal Services Thursday. According to the statement, Lelesch has worked for the city since 2016, when he was hired as a kennel technician. Over the past five years, he has has been promoted to animal control officer, field supervisor and now director.
