Drug driver banned from getting behind the wheel and fined
A DRUG driver has been disqualified for 18 months after being caught on Worthy Road. Kyle Michael Evans-Ferris, 29, of May Tree Close, Badger Farm, was in a 58-reg BMW 320 on December 2 last year. When tested by the police his reading for benzoylecgonine, a breakdown of cocaine, was 171µg/L when the legal limit is 50µg/L meaning he was more than three times the limit. Tested for cannabis his reading was 2.8µg/L when the legal limit is 2µg/L. Evans-Ferris pleaded guilty to both charges. Magistrates fined him £360 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
