How we narrowly escaped death after contracting Lassa fever – Ondo survivors

Punch Newspapers Sections Peter Dada Mr Michael Olonite, a trader, who hails from Okeluse in the Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State,  is one of the survivors of Lassa fever that ravaged the state last year. He said he survived the infection as a result of its early detection. Olonite, who resides in Ayede Ogbese Community in the Akure North Local Government Area of the state, stated that when he noticed some strange feelings in his body system, he quickly rushed to the hospital to examine his health status. He said that at the hospital they discovered he was infected with Lassa fever.
