Jonathan, and it echoes something i think others have commented on looking at the macro situation saying the afghan government and the afghan people, it s hard for them to have political will when they turn around and they see that the united states and the international community, but largely led by the united states, suddenly lacks political will. and that certainly was the case under the trump administration. we know that donald trump campaigned, you know, to remove the united states military from afghanistan. he actually would have done it kind of overnight, you know, precipitously without much planning. president biden thought, i think, that he had planned it a little bit better although he was handed this much weakened political military hand. you know, michael, let me bring you in here. i would love to get your reaction to what you have heard so far. especially speaking of the president s statement, lengthy statement from yesterday. your reaction to this where he says, one mor ....
