Robson to Receive Freedom of Ipswich Thursday, 10th Apr 2008 14:08 Sir Bobby Robson will receive the freedom of Ipswich when he returns to Suffolk for the 30th anniversary of the Blues' 1978 FA Cup final win on May 5th. The ceremony will take place on the balcony of the Town Hall after the winning side complete a bus tour of the town. Ex-Town striker Mich D'Avray says he's keen to succeed former team-mate Terry Butcher as the head coach of Australian A-League side Sydney FC. Butcher was sacked yesterday after Sydney were dumped out of the end-of-season finals series.
