Forming the Future: Spirit of Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur alive at St. Patrick School, Lowell
LOWELL -- The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur founded St. Patrick School and Education Center in 1852 to educate the children of poor immigrants working in Lowell's mills. Although the order no longer works there, the school's teachers still strive to maintain their spirit of service, diversity, and community.
