The resolution, provided to The Commercial Appeal, asks for Halbert's office to correct issues state auditors found during their audit.
The City of Memphis is still looking into the matter; however, no entity at the city, county or state level knows who owns this property.
Halbert was first elected Shelby County Clerk in 2018 and was reelected in 2022. Her tenure has been plagued by repeated issues and investigations.
