VON’s 26th annual Alzheimer’s Awareness Event comes with a few unique twists. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, VON Middlesex-Elgin Program Co-ordinator Debbie Burns stresses the importance of continuing to understand the magnitude of Alzheimers and other memory-related ailments, and recognizes the effects of the disease on not only those who suffer, but others as well.
