€15.8m allocated to local greenways
It isn't often that our local councillors get a chance to welcome good news so it's difficult to blame them when they avail of the opportunity when it arises. So councillors from throughout Cork formed an orderly queue at Monday's online meeting of the local authority to welcome a funding allocation of €15.8m for the provision of sustainable transport iniatives such as greenways and cycle paths across the county.
