JANESVILLE Although Janesville’s crime rate continues to drop, Police Chief Dave Moore said his officers remain vigilant about trends, such as a recent spate of gun thefts. February 23, 2021 The suspect in a Janesville double-homicide from last February has a plea of not guilty entered on his behalf.  34-year-old Marcus Randle-El sat mute during his entire arraignment hearing Monday morning in Rock County Court.  His defense attorney was prompted to enter the plea on his behalf.  Randle-El is accused in the shooting deaths of 30-year-old Seairaha Winchester and and 27-year-old Brittany McAdory in the 3200 block of Midvale Drive on Janesville’s east side. Trial planning is underway.
