The building that formerly housed operations for Lincoln Yellow Cab on the city's north end was destroyed by a fire Sunday morning. The taxi service had operated at 1700 Factory Street for 37 years before moving to its present location at 1530 Wabash Avenue in June, said one of the owners, Mike Antonacci, at the fire scene Sunday morning. Antonacci said the business moved to the 19,000-square-foot Factory Street location in 1983, 50 years after his grandfather, Oresto "Ernie" Antonacci, had founded the company.
