President of the Criminal Court in Syria's Homs Judge Akram Ibrahim, and his son, reportedly survived an assassination attempt after an explosive device was planted in their car Thursday morning. Syrian state television reported that an explosion "of an explosive device in a tourist car in the Shammas neighborhood in the city of Homs, injuring 3 people," according to a source from the Homs police officials, without providing any further details.
