William Check, age 98, of Lewistown, passed away January 20, 2021.
Born in Nesquehoning, PA, December 15, 1922, he was the son of Martin and Anna Bajzik Check. He is survived by his wife, Audrey Ruble Check, with whom he celebrated 71 wonderful years together on June 25, 2020. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dr. William A. Check, his wife, Sheryl, and grandson, Adam, of Great Falls, VA, and Brian D. Check, of Schwenksville, PA, along with a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son Robert B. Check, sisters Elizabeth Check, Anna Check Yamarik and Mildred Check, and daughter-in-law Ann Rose Check. ....
