May 23, 2021 Mifflin Township – Troopers are investigating a fatal crash involving a Ford Mustang on State Route 603 near Mile Post 2 in Ashland County. On Saturday, May 22, 2021 at approximately 2258 hours, a 1992 Ford Mustang 5.0 was southbound on State Route 603 when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and partially overturn after striking a ditch. Finney BELLEVILLE — A woman with a seeing eye dog claims she was severely injured while riding a Madison County Transit bus when it collided with a tractor trailer.  Kimberly Hallows filed a complaint April 28 in the St. Clair County Circuit Court against Madison County Transit, alleging negligence.  According to the complaint, Hallows and her seeing eye dog were passengers on a Madison County Transit bus on Nov. 2, 2019.
