ekadashi: Dev Uthani Ekadashi 2023: When is it, puja timings and why it's so auspicious for Hindus
Dev Uthani Ekadashi, also known as Prabodhini Ekadashi, is a significant day for Hindu devotees as it marks the awakening of Lord Vishnu after a four-month slumber. This year, it will be observed on November 23, 2023. It is a time of celebration, prayer, and the resumption of all auspicious activities such as marriages, engagements, mundan, and griha pravesh. Devotees follow rituals, observe a fast, and offer prayers to Lord Vishnu to cleanse themselves of past bad Karmas and seek his blessings for salvation (Moksha).
