REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR GENDER ASSESMENT CONSULTANCY Millennium Water Alliance with support of Swiss Development Corporation (SDC) seeks to contract a consultant to conduct a gender assessment to understand and generate information on the existing gender gaps, needs, constraints and opportunities of women and men (and girls and boys) in the program target areas of Garissa, Wajir, Isiolo, Turkana and Marsabit. The goal is to have a deeper and enhanced understanding of how gender dynamics influence access, control and ownership to water and rangeland resources, and services. It will also identify inequalities in terms of power, resources and opportunities existing between men and women, with implications of any intervention to promote gender equality and related gender outcomes.
