Hey and hello!
I welcome you to a new dev update! There are a few updates to the Mini RPG, once the look evolves and the battle system getting better and better. There’s more about that right here in the post. To start with, I wanted to briefly explain why I write these updates here every Sunday. On the one hand, I find it exciting to see the development of the projects and LotsOfStuff in general, on the other hand, I really enjoy going through the achievements of the week or just taking a little time to think about the games. That s why I m doing all of this here. When I then reach people who are interested in my projects and work, that s the icing on the cake. Anyway Thank you for reading it!

Hey and hello!
To start with, I would like to tell you that I am really happy that the Mini RPG project is so well received. That motivates a lot. The switch to a color variant of the tilesets took the project to a new level and I think it looks much better now.
This is what it looks like now. The clouds were again a last-minute idea, but it was really worth it.
That was it for this week. If everything continues to go so well, I will have a little announcement about the Mini RPG project in the next few weeks. Stay tuned!

It s time for an update again. Today there is a little tutorial for a change. For the MiniRPG project, I was looking for a way to have as free a hand as possible in the design and integration of effects and, in the best case, without the use of particles.

It s time for an update again. Today there is a little tutorial for a change. For the MiniRPG project, I was looking for a way to have as free a hand as possible in the design and integration of effects and, in the best case, without the use of particles. The MiniRPG project is being developed with the Unity Engine, but I think the tutorial should also rely on the Unreal Engine.

It s MiniRPG Dev Update Day again .. Whoop!
Today there is a small stocktaking. What works already, where are the first problems and what s next.
So what is the state of affairs
Battle system
The core of the battle system works and can easily be expanded. Battles can be won, but the heroes cannot take any damage yet.
What s next here ..
Special Maps
Special maps like the city can be loaded, a cutscene can be played at the beginning. Moving on the special maps works, interactions are still missing

Stay a while and listen .. Time for a new blog post. For the MiniRPG Project (it s time for a name) I thought about building a kind of hub as a central point of the game. You come back to this hub again and again during the game and can improve the group or buy items. This hub also offers the possibility to get additional mechanics into the game. But more so if the hub is accessible.
