Four held for assaulting mining officials in Sohna
Four suspects have been arrested for attacking a team of mining officials during a raid in Sancholi village in Sohna, India. The team was checking illegal sand mining when they were allegedly attacked by a dozen men carrying sticks. The suspects fled after the team members raised an alarm, leaving behind an earthmoving machine. The mining officer suffered a fracture in his hand in the incident. A case has been registered against the suspects under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. Police are searching for the other suspects.
