A motherâs love knows no bounds and for Mrs. Deborah Okezie, that love has been sorely tested recently while trying to get justice for her son, 11-year-old Don-Davis Archibong, a Junior Secondary School (JSS) 1 student of Deeper Life High School, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital. Deeper Life School: Akwa Ibom government surrenders case of 'molested' student to police

The Akwa Ibom State Government said it has surrendered the case involving a student of Deeper Life High School that was allegedly molested to the police for investigation.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Ini Ememobong, stated that the government withdrew from the case following the concurrent investigation by the Police, the proper agency saddled with that responsibility.
The victim’s mum, Deborah Okezie, had taken to Facebook to cry out over the alleged sexual abuse.
She stated in the viral video that her son was sexually molested by his seniors saying ” “They will remove his boxer and push their legs and hands into his anus… look at a child I sent to school, he came back with a broken anus,” she added. ....

Akwa Ibom govt withdraws from investigating molestation scandal in Deeper life school

The Akwa Ibom State Government has withdrawn from the ongoing investigation process into the alleged molestation and sexual abuse of a student of Deeper life high school in the state, Don Davies.
Recall that the mother of the victim, Mrs Deborah Okezie had cried out on social media alleging that her son was starved by the school as well as molested and sexually abused by some senior students in the school.
Following the outcry, Governor Udom Emmanuel set up a committee headed by the Commissioner for Education, Mrs. Enobong Mbobo, to look into the allegations.
But one week after, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Comrade Ini EmemObong in a statement announced the state government’s decision to withdraw from the investigation saying that police should be allowed to carry out the investigations. ....
