(NewsDakota.com) – West Fargo used an 11-0 between the end of the first half and into the second half, plus a stifling defense in the second half to pull out a 67-43 win over Valley City in the Eastern Dakota Conference girls basketball tournament loser out game. VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City Hi-Liner girls played their last regular season game Thursday night, hosting the West Fargo Packers, and they ran into a buzz saw as the Packers jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, winning 78-45. The game was over as a contest early, as the Packers took a 42-17 lead into halftime.  The Hi-Liners were able to cut the lead to less than 20 in the second half, but they never made a serious run at a comeback.  The end of the game saw both teams empty their benches and finish with younger players in the game.

Davies (4-0  overall) senior guard Ryleigh Wacha scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, while teammate Taylor Fey scored a game-high 18 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. West Fargo (2-1 overall) sophomore forward Miriley Simon scored a game-high 16 points and 13 rebounds for the Packers.
