During a short Selectmen s meeting Wednesday, the board heard from Town Clerk Haley Meczywor, who said residents can vote for their favorite decorated home starting Friday, Dec.18, at 5 pm.
Earlier this month, the town decided to resurrect the Holiday Home Decorating Contest in which homeowners are encouraged to decorate the exterior of their residences so they can be seen from the street and judged.
Meczywor said this year s 49 participants have been mapped out online on the town s website, where the voting will also take place.
It is all there; it is very easy, she said. You can print out the map and mark all of the houses that you want to go see. I suggest you do all of them. Just driving around in my neighborhood there are a few, and I think it is going to be a tough competition. ....
