Your reaction in general to these reports that russia has managed to create some sort of new weapon? >> my reaction is similar to lucy's in terms of the defense implications and maybe the veracity of this report. it's only coming out of moscow. in march putin said he was deploying, developing and then deploying a host of new weapons. this one is significant. if they were able to truly test and successfully come up with an intercontinental missile that flies at five times the speed of sound, basically that missile would be more maneuverable and harder to track. in that respect putin is right. w...
