The mother of a British backpacker who vanished in Canada 31 years ago has made a fresh appeal for information on a new podcast highlighting missing persons cold cases. Charles Horvath-Allan, then aged 20, was last seen in May 1989 at a campsite in Kelowna, British Columbia, where he had been staying while doing odd jobs in the tourist town.
