Loadshedding causes Durban taps to run dry, find list of affected areas here Updated Andrew Robertson unsplash Eskom downgraded the scheduled power cuts to stage 1 this morning, saying they'll continue until 5am on Saturday. eThekwini says the rolling blackouts - imposed last week - have interrupted power supply to bulk treatment facilities and several installation plants, across the city. The Municipality says load shedding's further worsened the situation at the Durban Heights treatment facility - where a major storage reservoir's being rehabilitated.
