george anthony had returned to the stand in the casey anthony trial that s taking place in orlando. he s been called to the stand once again after his alleged mistress krystal holloway was on the stand this morning, stating he stated to her that it was an accident that spiraled out of control. ladies, i m going to ask you to stand by as we continue to watch this, as more riveted testimony comes up. we have other big news that we have to get to this morning. after an alarming security breach, authorities are now investigating how a nigerian man slipped through security without a boarding pass and he did so with intentions for a cross country flight. he made it to l.a. last friday, he was arrested yesterday after trying to board a flight from l.a. to atlanta. pete williams joins me now. everybody who has travelled in
told her this was an accident that snowballed out of control, a statement that can be interpreted in many ways but clearly the defense interprets it as him knowing that it was an accident, that feeds into the defense theory, whether it s going to be credible with the jurors well have to wait and see. what the judge did was severely limit how jurors can use this evidence. in my experience jurors do pay attention to what the judge says, and what the judge said, you can use this statement for the purpose of deciding credibility. if you re listening to what the judge is telling you how to interpret this witness, it s still making an impression on you. oh, yes. the witness said he never said he believed, he only said that it was an accident that snowballed out of control. so it s very specific word choice here s. the real question is what does each individual juror think
we want to take you back to the case anthony trial. george anthony is off the stand and cindy anthony is on the stand. we have watched this go on and on throughout. what type of a strategy is this? it s very odd because both the prosecutors are doing it and the defense attorneys. i have covered a lot of cases in florida and this doesn t seem to be the normal course of things. a witness is brought on for a single point and then is brought back. and cindy has to testify about whether there was duct tape at one of the searches. it was a very distinct brand found on casey anthony s corpse and that very specific brand was found at the anthony home. and now cindy is on the stand, but i don t think we know yet what she s there to testify to this time around. stand by real quick ricky, because we re going to listen in and see what exactly she s saying. and how old were the kids?
at this point and by virtue of where they are in their own mind is exactly the lens through which they will see this testimony. either they think george anthony and krystal had an affair or didn t. and that will be the question of which one they believe. when it comes down to it, what george anthony believes is almost irrelevant. did he believe it was an accident, did he believe she was missing, did they believe that all the way up until they found the remains? does he now believe that his daughter probably maybe did it? his belief system, from where i sit is realli really irrelevant. now george anthony is being sworn in again. is this tit for tat? i have never seen a case where these witnesses come on
like garbage bag. it was taped, i believe it was more of a clear tape. and it was very cold, she was kind of on ice until we picked her up. who was in charge of burying your family pets? typically it would have been my parents. okay. i have no further questions. cross-examination? none. may the witness be excused? yes, sir. thank you, sir, you may be excused. so we have lee anthony leaving the stand after being called up briefly to address some of the questions about how burial of family pets was observed within the anthony family. to try to catch this and see where is everyone going with this. the defense is trying to set up an argument that george anthony
