Seven colleges across the state will launch new technology programs as part of an effort to boost the state’s tech workforce and support an industry Connecticut sees as a major growth opportunity. The schools were awarded grants to launch the new programs from the state’s Tech Talent Accelerator program, which aims to close the skills gap by fostering targeted partnerships between business and higher education in emerging, high-demand tech skills. Areas of focus include cybersecurity, virtual modeling, software development, and digital analytics.
