Among the cases heard Tuesday was a Mitchell man who was sentenced to serve eight years in prison for violating probation after using a synthetic drug that tested positive for cocaine.
Another $24,000 in challenge grants was allocated. One group already met their challenge.
āIām just excited to get going with the school year. We have a lot of great things going on,ā said Joe Childs, superintendent for the Mitchell School District.
Among the cases heard was a man who allegedly told officers there was an explosive device in his vehicle while being transported to jail, resulting in a search that uncovered a mushroom candy bar.
