MDE The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) seeks public comment on the document, The Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), under 34 CFR §300.151, requires the MDE to adopt written procedures for resolving any complaint filed in accordance with 34 CFR §300.153. The Special Education Problem Solving Process, adopted in April 2013, and most recently updated in October 2018, includes MDE's written state complaint procedures as well as other dispute resolution information.
