The Economic Freedom Fighters in KwaZulu-Natal is calling for  the Department of Transport, Community Safety and Liaison in the province to speed up investigations into political killings,  ahead of the 2024 National Elections. We note with concern the recent Global Initiative Report Against Transnational Organized Crime that out of all the provinces, KwaZulu-Natal recorded the highest number of politically influenced murder cases  last year. According to this report the number of political killings in the province has been escalating since 2020.
