Cosmetics entrepreneur Nur Sajat pleads not guilty to cross-dressing
KUALA LUMPUR: Controversial cosmetics entrepreneur Muhammad Sajjad Kamaruz Zaman, or popularly known as Nur Sajat, has claimed trial at the Shah Alam Syariah High Court to a charge involving cross-dressing. Sajjad, 35, is accused of dressing as a female at a religious event, an act said to have brought contempt to Islam. He is charged with committing the offence at his beauty centre Nursajat Beauticion in Jalan Serai Wangi G16/G, Section 16, Shah Alam, at 7.30pm on Feb 23,2018.
