One person was killed and two others injured late on Wednesday night after highway police opened fire at their car when they allegedly refused to pull over in the Dijikot area of Faisalabad, officials said.
According to a statement from the Faisalabad city police officer (CPO), Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Shahid Manzoor tried to stop a black Toyota Corolla driving on the Samundari Road on the night of Jan 20.
