A Kerala court recently dismissed a petition filed by the State government to withdraw the ivory tusk possession case in which Malayalam cine actor Mohanlal is among the accused.
Justice Mary Joseph noted that the Magistrate had dismissed a plea moved by the State and in such a situation an accused, in this case Mohanlal, may not have the right to challenge the same.
