Needed Rainfall Accumulates Over Weekend, Gradual Warm Up This Week

Bussey (Cedar Creek) – 2.13″ In the April 29th U.S. Drought Monitor Report, all KNIA/KRLS area counties were upgraded to abnormally dry conditions after a dry spell throughout the month of April. A gradual warm up is expected this week, according to the National Weather Service, with daytime highs in the lower 60s and up and eventually above 70 by the weekend, and precipitation chances returning Friday and continuing periodically into early next week.
