Monroe woman killed in shooting A 29-year-old Monroe woman was killed late Monday night in an apparent homicide.  Authorities were dispatched to the 6000 block of Greenwycke Lane in Monroe Charter Township at 9:20 p.m. in response to a report of a shooting.  Responding Monroe County sheriff’s deputies found a deceased female at the residence. She has been identified as Katlynn Nicole Hill, a resident of Monroe. The Monroe News Spring cleanup at St. Joseph Cemetery Spring cleanup of grave decorations and floral arrangements will begin March 1 at St. Joseph Cemetery located at 909 N. Monroe St. All decorations will be removed from graves and mausoleums to prepare the grounds for the summer season, the cemetery posted on its Facebook page.
