St James man shot dead while having a meal inside his yard

The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Rodian Slowley, also called ‘Brown Chops’, of Salt Spring in the parish. Reports are that about 9:15pm, Slowley was outside his house having a meal, when gunshots were heard. The police were called and when they arrived on the scene, Slowley was found in his yard lying in a pool of blood with gunshot wounds to his head and elsewhere on his upper body.
