New Delhi/UNI: As the severe cyclone Biparjoy inching towards Gujarat Coast, parts of the Saurashtra-Kutch region received heavy rains accompanied by strong winds.
Under the influence of Cyclone Biparjoy, heavy rains are forecasted for coastal Gujarat and Rajasthan. Northeast India to see widespread rainfall, while Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and other regions may experience thunderstorms and heavy rainfall.
IMD has sounded alert as very severe cyclone Biparjoy is expected to make landfall across coastal areas of Gujarat and adjoining Pakistan coasts by June 15.
